ScriptShare Program    


 

The ScriptShare program is a unique service that New Dramatists created to make some of the most exciting contemporary plays available to theatres, universities, producers, individual artists, scholars, and theatre lovers everywhere. In keeping with New Dramatists’ mission statement to provide space and time for resident playwrights to develop their craft, New Dramatists ScriptShare program aids the playwright community in its collective desire to make contact with potential “new friends” of new American plays and playwrights. 

 

PROGRAM BENEFITS:

 

  • monthly updates about New Dramatists’ calendar of events and playwright activity.

 

  • ongoing new play consultation with ND’s Director of Playwright Programs.

 

  • you may request up to 15 complimentary copies of New Dramatists plays directly from our Director of Playwright Programs during a subscription year.  Simply call and relay your request.  New Dramatists does the rest.*

 

SUBSCRIPTION PRICE:  The subscription fee is $350.00

*New Dramatists does not sell reading copies of its residents’ plays, nor do we guarantee that all plays listed in our catalog will be universally available to the public.  As we exist first and foremost to support the work of our resident playwrights, we reserve the right for a writer to pull a play from public access.

 

All plays listed in the Plays and Playwrights Catalog are subject to royalties.  They are fully protected under the copyright laws of the United States of America, and of all countries with which the United States has reciprocal copyright relations.  All rights are strictly reserved.  Those making rights inquiries should contact the writer’s specified representative or the writer directly, care of New Dramatists.  New Dramatists, which is not a producing organization or literary agency, receives no proceeds or monetary benefits from royalties, profits, or other fees earned by our playwrights.
